Premade Cover Artist Guide

Welcome! Before submitting your templates, please take a moment to read this guide carefully.

  1. We only accept template designs made in BookCoverly. You will need to purchase the BookCoverly Personal License.
  2. We pay via PayPal. To receive payment for your artwork, ensure you have a PayPal account before submitting your covers. Payments are processed every Monday, or Tuesday, depending on your location.
  3. New designers must submit 2 book covers initially for style evaluation, as described below:
    1. Set your cover template to 9″ high x 13″ wide with a 1″ spine and .125″ trim. (Please refer to the quick start guide included in your purchase to start your design.)
    2. Save your covers as .jpg and email them, or provide a Google Drive link to bookcoverly@gmail.com
  4. Abiding by the Vendor Terms is mandatory. Read the Vendor Terms, as they constitute your contract with BookCoverly. Non-compliance will result in the termination of your ability to sell book covers through our platform.
  5. The review process typically takes 3-5 days. Once approved, we will email you.
  6. You can use your own photography and resources for covers but all imagery must be copyright free and allowed for use in published book covers.
  7. No AI-generated images are allowed at this time. Please read our Vendor Terms for clarification.
  8. Selling your BookCoverly templates on your own site is allowed.
